Steps:
- Locate the widest part of your pet's chest, which is usually just behind the front legs around the ribcage.
- Wrap the measuring tape around this area, keeping it level.
- Again, allow a 1-2 finger gap for comfort.
- Record the measurement.
2. Measuring Neck Girth
Purpose: Used to choose collars, scarves, or neck accessories.
Steps:
- Prepare a soft measuring tape, or use a piece of string and measure it later with a ruler.
- Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your pet’s neck (usually where the neck meets the shoulders).
- Ensure the tape fits snugly but isn’t too tight. You should be able to insert 1-2 fingers for comfort.
- Record the measurement.
3. Measuring Back Length
Purpose: Determines whether the clothing length is suitable.
